Welcome to Travelblog Asia. I am James Heald, an American expatriate currently living in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I have spent four years living in Asia, working as an English teacher in South Korea for three years, and five months teaching in Thailand.
I will be sharing my experiences traveling through Asia, as well as sharing photographs of the places I have visited. After leaving South Korea for Thailand, I have been given the opportunity to visit three other countries in the last year. Those countries include Myanmar, Laos and Malaysia.
There is much to see and to experience in Asia, and I hope you will join me in my travels.
